A 19th century Georgian-style oak tilt-top occasional table.
The circular top, displaying a rich figured grain and quarter-sawn fleck with an aged patina developed through long use, is supported by a turned pedestal and three cabriole legs. Fitted with a brass catch, the top tilts to a vertical position, allowing the table to be stored neatly against a wall.
A versatile example of English country house furniture, suitable for use as a wine table, lamp table or small side table. Classic cottage and farmhouse character.
