A rare original Art Deco display cabinet in richly figured walnut, circa 1930s. The dramatic swirling book-matched walnut veneer is the standout feature, complemented by the Art Deco rounded pillar corners, arched glazing bars forming an elegant fan motif on both doors, and a shaped gallery rail to the top. Glass shelves inside.
The piece stands on cabriole legs with pad feet — an appealing blend of Art Deco form with a subtle Queen Anne influence typical of quality British cabinet making of the period.
Bears the original maker’s badge of NC Ltd Exclusive. In remarkably good condition for its age throughout. A genuinely striking and decorative piece. Circa 1930s.
