G Plan began in 1898 as ‘E Gomme’ after its founder Ebeneezer Gomme. In 1956 they re-branded as G Plan (Gomme Plan). After focusing on World War 11 utility furniture, their style changed with the influence of Scandinavian design, leading to a collaboration with Danish designer Ib Kofod Larsen. G Plan design became increasingly modern and minimalist, using high-quality materials such as Teak and Rosewood.

The Fresco range exemplified this design philosophy. It included a selection of pieces including sideboards, dining tables and shelving units.

Listed here is the extending dining table from the Fresco range.
