A set of four Schreiber dining chairs in warm teak, slender and well-proportioned throughout. What makes these particularly special is the original upholstery — a rich mustard gold fabric with a deeply textured, swirling botanical pattern. Schreiber chairs of this era are almost universally found with plain black or brown leatherette seats, making this a genuinely rare find.
Schreiber was one of Britain’s most successful furniture manufacturers, whose clean-lined, Scandinavian-influenced designs were found in homes across the country during their 1960s–70s heyday. Highly collectable today, their pieces are valued for honest quality and clean mid-century design that sits comfortably in both period and contemporary interiors.
