A very striking set of four mid-century dining chairs by Edmund Homa, produced by Gościcińska Fabryka Mebli (GFM) in Poland, dating from the 1960s.
Edmund Homa was one of Poland’s most respected furniture designers, whose pieces are increasingly recognised and collected internationally.
The seats have been newly reupholstered in bright sunshine-yellow SKAI vinyl; a premium, German-made vinyl that wears extremely well and has a pleasantly tactile, leather-like quality.
They feature Homa’s characteristically sculpted, gently curved solid teak back panel sitting elegantly between two cylindrical upright posts.
A rare and collectable set from a now highly regarded designer. Circa 1960s.
Width 49cm x depth 49 x height 73cm x seat height 44cm
Very good Mid-Century condition with only minor signs of age and use. Structurally solid. Any damage, however minor, is always noted in the description.
