Founded in 1957 by Chaim Schreiber, Schreiber furniture is an interesting British success story.
The Company was one of the biggest names in furniture in the 70s, rivalling G Plan, Avalon and other famous names.
In 1973 they added fitted kitchens to their range, and created 280 Schreiber Furniture Centre shops throughout UK, including a showroom in Tottenham Court road.
This is a very rare Schreiber desk with the trademark veneer and distinctive recessed curved handles. The top is mushroom coloured laminate. For more storage there is an open slot on the left hand side.
