An attractive antique Edwardian mahogany chest of drawers, dating from the early 20th century, circa 1900–1915.
The chest features two smaller drawers above two full-width drawers, providing useful storage within a relatively compact piece. Fine decorative string inlay runs around the drawer fronts and top, with further inlaid detailing to the raised gallery back.
Finished with its original brass ring handles and keyhole escutcheons, the chest stands on shaped feet and has developed a warm, aged colour and attractive patina.
